Six Triple Eight is inspired by the first and only all-female Army Corps colored unit to serve overseas during World War II. Despite racism and sexism and grueling working conditions, they were determined to serve their country with honor and excellence. Given an extraordinary mission and united in their determination, these unsung heroes gave hope and broke down barriers.
